OptiBridge — כניסה ללקוח is an internal tool of OptiCity for its staff. It does two things, and only when an employee asks for them in OptiBridge (optibridge.app):
- it logs that employee in to app.opticity.co.il as the client they chose; and
- for the finance department, it reads that client's monthly "כספי מחיר ספק" (supplier price) report from OptiCity, so OptiBridge can turn it into an Excel file.
What personal data it handles
The developer collects none. What the extension handles, for as long as one request takes:
- the username and password for app.opticity.co.il that the employee's OptiBridge account holds for the chosen client, to log in;
- for a report, the report's contents as OptiCity returns them: the trips of that month, with their dates, cities, prices, and for each trip the passengers' names, departments and pickup addresses.
Why it is used
The login details are used only to sign the employee in to the chosen client's OptiCity account. The report is used only to give the finance department that client's monthly report as a ready Excel file. Neither is used for any other purpose, sold, or used for advertising or credit.
Who receives it
The login details go only into the app.opticity.co.il login form. The report goes only to the OptiBridge page that asked for it, in the same browser, which builds the Excel file on the employee's computer. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party. The only network traffic the extension causes is the normal login to app.opticity.co.il and, for a report, the same requests OptiCity's own report screen makes to its server, server.opticity.co.il. (OptiBridge itself records when a report was downloaded, how many trips it had and its total - not the trips or the passengers.)
What it stores, and how long it is kept
Nothing is saved. The username, password and report are discarded as soon as the request is done. While Chrome keeps the extension running it remembers, in memory only, the username of the client it last signed in, so a second report of the same client does not sign in again; this is forgotten when Chrome stops the extension.
What it removes and closes
Before signing in as a different client it closes the app.opticity.co.il tabs that are open and clears, in the browser, the cookies of app.opticity.co.il and of server.opticity.co.il and app.opticity.co.il's site storage, so that the previous client's session ends. A report is read in a background tab that the extension closes when done. It touches no other site.
Where it runs
Only on app.opticity.co.il and server.opticity.co.il, and it accepts requests only from OptiBridge (optibridge.app, and its original address optibridg.pages.dev).
Your rights
Because the extension keeps nothing, there is nothing of yours in it to see, correct or delete. The login details it passes on are kept in OptiBridge, where each employee can see, change or delete their own at any time; the trip data belongs to OptiCity's own system. Uninstalling the extension removes it completely.
